I would like to rename a .BAK file to .mdb

Could someone please detail how one changes the file extension on .BAK files
created by Access Security Wizard? I've tried several times to right-click
and 'rename', but I just end up with (Filename).mdb.BAK

Many thanks.

I don't know anything about .BAK or .mdb files, but what may work is
changing your folder settings to show the file type, then replacing
the .mdb with .BAK. To do this, go to Tools > Folder Options... >
View and Uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types." This should
cause the file name to show (Filename).mdb Rename it to
(Filename).BAK and it should change the file extension. Hope that
helps.

Perfect - thank you, Tim!
