Rename Inbox

P

Peter

Hello,

I have the following problem:
I have updated my Dutch Office 2000 with and English
version of Office 2003. In that proces my default
mailmaps in Outlook were renamed from the Dutch names
(postvak in etc.) to inbox, outbox etc. After that I
uninstalled this English version to go back to the Dutch
version of Office 2000.

But then I discovered that my default E-mail maps in
Outlook still had the English names. Then I installed the
Dutch version of Office 2003 but still the mapnames are
in English.

Can somebody please tell me how I can rename the standard
maps from these English variants into Dutch? It can't be
done from within Outlook because the rename option is
grayed out.

I thought I had found the solution when I read something
about outlook.exe and command lines, but the following
statement did not work either:

outlook.exe /resetfoldernames

Can you help me? Many thanx in advance!

Greetings,

Peter :)

Are you using the Dutch version now and you want the Dutch foldernames? Then
starting Outlook with the /resetfoldernames switch should work. Do it after
a clean boot to make sure no other application is holding the Outlook.exe
process. If you are running synchronisationsoftware disable it first as well
to make sure the Outlook.exe doesn't get started immidiately on logon.
