Rename CD Type

I have 2 CD rewriters in my PC but whilst the one clearly
states that it is a CD-R/RW in "my computer" the other
drive is simply labelled as a CD Drive.
How can I rename the title of this removable drive?

Greg,

There are two reasons why the CD-RW drive does not show as a recordable
drive.

1. The drive is incompatible with Windows XP. Does not meet the XP HCL.
2. A registry corruption.

CD-R Drive or CD-RW Drive Is Not Recognized As a Recordable Device
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;316529

NOTE:
If the drive is not on the Hardware Compatibility List (HCL), the drive may
not work with the built-in CD copying functionality, regardless of this
registry setting.

Because it's not correct. If you let standards drop over
this issue then it can only get worse. I don't allow
error messages to continue popping up unchallenged either
