Hey, I was looking to see if anyone can help me. I loaded
2000 pro on top of Millenium Edition. But we have a
network at home and it screwed with some network settings
and it seems to be running poorly on the system, so we
decided to switch back to ME even though we don't like
that either.

When I loaded 2000 pro I selected an option in the setup
that would allow for 'easy removal' of windows 2000 so
that I could go back to ME without losing any of the
information that is stored on the computer...but i don't
know how to do it??? can anyone help???

thanks in advance...

Your problem was probably caused by the rogue "upgrade"
you performed. Win2000 was released first, WinME later.
There is no "upgrade" path from WinME back to Win2000.
If you did a clean installation of Win2000 then your problems
would most likely disappear. Back up your important files
before allowing the disk to be formatted.
