Removing unwanted folder

The removal of MS Frontpage left a remnant folder with two empty subfolders
(Version3.0 and Bin), none of which can be deleted. The error message
indicates it is being used by another progam.

Efforts at removal from the command prompt are to no avail. I have also
unchecked everything at the Startup tab of the Systems Configuration Utility
to prevent loading of a related program but this too was of no help in the
deletion.

Any suggetsions?

In the TOOLs > Folder Options ... > View tab, have you
select the "Show hidden files and folders" button, and
UNchecked the "hide protected operating files" box? There
might me actual files in those folders, otherwise

use the "rd /s" command from a ms-dos box.

Use command rd \\.\<driveletter>:\<directory>.
