Hello.
At "Add/Remove Programs -> Windows components", I could only remove
very limited components like MSN Explorer, Games or Network services.
Is it possible to completely remove (not only removing shortcuts) some
unused components from HDD? For example; remote desktop, Remote
Assitance, Wireless network, Scaners and Cameras, System restore,
Windows Messenger, Outlook Express and so on.

Those apps really don't take up that much room.

And System Restore has saved my bacon
more than once after a bad install.

I'm posting this reply using that piece
of sh*t Outlook Express because my
Outlook app won't do newsgroups.

If you're determined to delete those apps,
knock yourself out. Good luck.

You cannot remove Outlook Express or Internet Explorer, only access to them.

You need to locate the SYSOC.INF file and remove the word HIDE to see more
options in Add or Remove Programs/Remove Windows Components.
