Removing Styles

I work with documents that come to me with various fonts and styles embedded.
I do not want any of them in my document.

Is there an easy way to remove every style except Normal (i.e., Tms Roman
New 11 pt)?

Thanks.

I use Word 2007 and this doesn't work for me.
I often cut and paste text form different sources (website, other documents)
into one word document. Then I want to change the text to the 'normal' style.
However, when I select all the text and press the 'normal' style button or
try your shortcut , either only one line changes or nothing changes at all.
In the end I have to select each section I copied seperately and change it
individually into the style I want.

How can this all be done at once because this is both frustrating and time
consuming? I remember that in older versions of Word this was no problem. Is
this an error in Word 2007?

Sometimes you have to press Ctrl+SpaceBar to get rid of direct font
formatting.

Or Paste Special > Unformatted text in the first place ;)

Unless of course you really want to keep the nested tables that are often
included when you paste HTML. :-)
