Removing Spy or Tracking info from my PC

How do I remove tracking or spy stuff from my PC?
I heard that the tracking stuff is added to your PC when
you go to certain websites and if you remove it , your PC
will run better.

Try running Adaware 6.0 (free version) from lavasoft.com

do a search on google for "syware removal tools". Adaware
and Spybot are two such examples and are available to
download free of charge. There are others which you can
buy (including versions of the above) which provide more
functionality depending upon your needs, but I find these
two quite adequate.
 
Try downloading Ad-aware from Lavasoft. Its very easy, just follow on screen instructions. It is fairly self explanatory to use. It scans your computer and then gives you a list of all the tracking stuff which you can then delete. The software is free and really does work. I had been told about it by several people and then saw an article in Computer Active recommending it. Good luck
