Removing someone from Global Address List

We had an employee leave our company. As the de facto "computer person"
around here, I went to the server (SBS 2003) and deleted her as a user. You
can no longer send email to that address, of course, but she's still showing
up in the Global Address List. How do I remove her name from that?

I personally don't care but my boss insists that I do it.

Thanks!

Andrea,

I believe the setting you are looking for is in AD - User Profile - Exchange
Advance- Select Hide from Address list

Francine, thanks so much.

I'm not sure I know where the setting you're talking about is located. Does
AD mean active directory? If so, I couldn't find User Profile under that, or
anything else that's abbreviated AD.

I probably shouldn't be touching the server, but what I did was just remove
this person as a user. Now I can't find any seettings pertaining to her.
Sorry to be such a blockhead.

Andrea,

Too hard on yourself- AD yes is Active Directory and the profile would be
located under the persons name or username. However you have since removed
it which is why you are not able to locate it.

This is more of an SBS- Exchange question then an Outlook question and would
think beneficial to refer you to the SBS Partners Group.

I am not sure where you are located but they have SBS Partner group meetings
all around -Rog Otterson, yes my husband runs the San Diego SMBTN (SBS)
partner Group in San Diego (he can refer you to one in your location, if
need me) and is an SBS MVP. I would absolutely join this group and it will
be invaluable to you.
