Removing some Start Menu icons

I cannot seem to delete several Start Menu icons. When I click on them
nothing occurs, and when I bring up properties they both say they are not
valid shortcuts. I have tried everything to get rid of them but nothing
seems to work. Would appreciate any ideas.

If you right-click on your start button, explore all users (or just
explore), navigate to the folder/shortcut you want, can you do it there?

When I explore All Users the two icons (shortcuts) do not appear.

Are you opening each group in the right pain or just looking in the tree and
not seeing them? I have found that sometimes the icons may not be visible in
the tree.

These two are visible in the tree or the right pane.

Then try just plain Explore - they may be in your profile startup folder.
