Removing right click options

S

**{Steven}**

I find that quite often, when I install programs, they will add options to
the right click menu without giving me the option to say no. How can I edit
the right click menu to remove those added options?

Thanks In Advance

In the context menu handlers of your registry. Go to
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/*/hellex/ContextMenuHandlers and there
you will find the programs with associated right click
values. Deleting these values will remove the right click
option. If you do not find the one you're looking for
there, you may have to check the associated software
folder from the regedit. Never messed with regedit? Email
me, I'll give you step by step instructions.
