I help a charity group who have been given a computor that someone didnt
want, the problem is ecerytime it boots it starts windows installer and the
asks for MS money 2002 disk which they havent got.

I have tried to unintall this but it asks for the disk and the only way to
stop the program from being there is to close it using task manager.

The computor they have is a XP home user so does anyone know how to
uninstall this program with out a disk.

I dont want to have to wipe the hard drive because of this annoyance unless
i realy have too.

Run msconfig.exe and check out the Startup tab. MS Money
might be listed under it.

Thanks for this I will check it, speaking of msconfig.exe is there anywhere
I can look to see what eaxctly each thing in the starup portion is and see
wherther i need to start these each time.
