I purchased a used computer a couple of months ago for my daughters.. they
have been using it alot and have many photos and music files on it.. I
recently tried to run some checks and cleanup on it and i discovered that the
service packs were not installed. I tried to do this but it would not.
stating that the registration number of the window xp version was invalid..
After searching and talking to the previous owner. I discovered that the
original xp had been upgraded to pro corp edition with a pirated version.. I
would like to go back to the orginal version of XP ( i have the disk) How can
I do this without formatting?? there are about 8 gig of materials in my
daughters files besides what is on windows itself. too much to copy to cd's I
do not have a dvd writer. I could really use some help
