Removing object from a style

How do I remove a Font size from a style based on Normal?
I have a style that is based on Normal, it has been
modifed to add a Font size, so it reads: "Normal + Font,
10pt..." I want to remove the "10pt" so that the font
size specified in the style Normal style takes over.

But I cannot figure out how to remove the font size!

Thanks - Lawrence

Hi Lawrence

You have to set the font size back to the same size as Normal.

In older versions of Word, this didn't quite do the job, because subsequent
changes to Normal didn't cascade through (the font size was always fixed by
the child style, from then on, even though this wasn't apparent in the box)
but in Word 2002 I believe picking the same characteristic as the parent
style does reset to an 'inherit' setting.
