removing MS Outlook logo from desktop

Can you tell me how to get rid of the microsoft outlook
logo from the desktop?
I tried but can not be deleted even using the
administrator account. The system has windows XP and MS
Office XP professional. Thanks for your help.

Have you tried going to your profile under documents and
settings then desktop and see if it is there and tried
deleting it? Just a swag.
