removing movie maker form my pc??? and more...

I removed it using the 'control panel' but when I checked the 'program files'
on 'my computer', it is still there the little bugger. I tried to delete it
but i keep getting an error about it being in use with another program, which
in fact it is not. I wanted to delete this version and download Movie Maker 2
becasue the first version suddenly started to crash on me. I open it it shuts
down. I open it it suts down... same thing over and over. And i used to make
5 minute videos with narrations, effects, transitions, music, and titles with
no problems at all! I thought if i delete the first one fully and upload the
second one maybe it will work again for me. Am i crazy and being desperate or
what? Should i get a differen version or another program? Much help would be
obliged.

You have MM v1 installed?

You can happily install v2 and use them.

See www.papajohn.org for how to have both versions on at teh same time,
otherwise you will just overwrite v1 and have v2.

You can install SP2 and just have v2.1, as it overwirites v1.
