Removing message for add in after deletion of add in

Mike

I am using Windows XP Home and Office XP Pro. The version of Outlook that
came with Office XP Pro is Outlook 2002. A few weeks ago I downloaded and
installed trend Micro's Anti Spam test program. After a while I started
having some trouble with it. Namely it dropped from the Outlook menu, and I
could not restore an otherwise nice program. I tried to no avail to delete
by using Windows Add and Remove. I then manually deleted it in Programs, and
employed regedit to get it out of the registry. The message "The Add IN
C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Anti Spam\ EMapp Wpr.dll" could not be found,
and you mar have inadequate memory etc. when I use Outlook kept appearing. I
have even uninstalled Office XP pro with Outlook and reinstalled the entire
same. As to memory I am only using 40 %, and there is no shortage of memory.
Short of reformatting the drive and reinstalling a large number of programs,
what do I do after also using search in Windows to get rid of this pain in
the rear message?
Thanks

Check in Tools | OPtions | Other | Advanced Options under Add-in Manager and
COM Add-ins and remove this program if it's present.
