To cut a long story short, I tried to uninstall mcafee anti virus becuase i
had another version. On their website they say you should go to add/remove
programs, and remove it from there, which i did. Once it completely removed
it, I immediately get the error:
"common shell: i need ResXX\Mcshield.dll"
This error pops up any time i try to open up any application on my system. I
talked to Toshiba's technical service people and they claim i must have
removed vital files by removing the anti virus.....can this be true? Do i
have to run a recovery disk to get back those files or what?

mcafee wants to charge me $2.95 per minute to talk to a service technician to
help me resolve the complications that occured from removing thier software,
because I didn't want it. (I spoke to a CS rep and then they transferred me
to where I would get billed, so i guess i'm saying i never got any real
information from them)
