Removing Empty Folders

I have some folders that I want to delete. A couple have proper names, but
are empty. A couple have a comma for a name and empty. I don't know how that
happened. And a couple were some how saved with no name and empty.
I tried the solutions listed at the KB article I listed below;
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;308421&Product=winxp
However, some of the folders do not have a security tab available. Some that
do have the security tab are not saving the changes made to the owner changes
and permission changes.
I have tried going through a comand prompt, but DOS tells me the path for
the folders with no name and the comma cannont be found.
What other solutions available.
Thank you,
mojr

Create a folder on one of your drive(s) Like D:a so its drive D and the
folder name is a..

Then 'drag and drop all the folders that are incorectly named into Folder
a..

Then , thru the DOS window DEL D:/A ie delete the folder , and they should
dissappear..

Unfortunately, I am not allowed to do that with these folders. I'm thinking
the security issues are screwed up. I have no idea how to fix them.
Hopefully, someone else may have a suggestion.
Thank you for the suggestion!

Do you have a second computer ( that works) with anything from Win98 up to
Vista?

If so , turn off the troublesome computer , remove the hard drive, or at
least the leads if they can be manipulated to reach the second one.
Reconfigure it as slave, and use the second computer to delete the
troublesome folders/files.....
