Removing duel boot

I formatted the drive using Win98 boot floppy. I then installed XP
Corp. from CD. I did not format the drive again and now when the PC
boots, I get option to load dos or windows. How can I get rid of this
please so that it goes straight to WinXP?

Try fdisk /mbr

You need to modify the boot.ini file....

Right click 'My Computer'
select properties
Advanced Tab
Startup and recovery settings

and you will see the boot options.

IIRC you can delete the one you don't want
