Removing `Desk Top Seach'

Through persistent prompting by the Windoes, I downloaded the `Windows
Desktop Search' & installed it.

I actually do not need it & it needlessly slows down the computer.

How can I remove it. Thanks.

Have you looked for it in Add and Remove Programs???
