Removing DC restrictions on a computer

Hi
I've been delegated the tasks of a network admin, although its been
ages since I did any administrative work.

I have a computer with windows xp that has restrictions on it (no
control panel, can't install programs, etc unless of course I log in
with an admin account) These restrictions are no longer needed and
need to be removed. I really don't know how I can restore it so the
user (cuser21) has normal access to the machine.

Hi,

You say DC restrictions, so the computer is joined to a domain? If that's
the case, the restrictions are set in group policy either at local, site,
domain, or organizational unit level. The restrictions would have to be
changed on the domain controller, and the changes will affect every computer
in the same group as the computer in question.

If it's a stand-alone computer these restrictions are probably set in the
computer's group policy editor.
