I Had a multi OS boot system, with Boot Magic" installed. After swapping from Win98/Linux to purely Win2000, formatting drive to NTFS, I still get Boot Magic error screen on boot up and I have to select "boot to active partition" manually. Can I access the boot record and remove this annoying last remnant of Boot Magic so that my system will boot normally?

Thanks.

If you have dos with fdisk you can do this

fdisk /mbr

Thanks guys!

Good suggestions, I tried the console one and it worked.

The FDISK is another good utility that I didn't think of.
