Removing all Security

P

Paul

I am creating an application for a place of business that
wishes to secure their application by making the MDB file
read-only.

I was giving them the option to secure it via provided
Access security, and secured it. I believe I have removed
the security, but when I make the MDB file read only, all
the forms are blank.

I have attempted to make a new database and import the
forms, tables..., but the result is the same when I make
it a read only file.

I want to remove all security from this and all databases,
and be able to make the file read only and still use the
forms, as it did prior to my security endevor.

I appreciate any suggestions..

Thanks,
Paul

Hi,

Importing your database objects into a new database would unsecure your
database file.

If that succeeds, then it wasn't properly secured in the first place.
Access security can be broken, but it isn't that easy.
