I wanted to reinstall windows, a complete new install, it
is running slow. Some how I installed another operating
system, so on start up, it gives me two options of which
instance of windows xp I want to run. I can not find a
way to delete the additional one, or the first one for
that matter....any idea's??

You have to edit BOOT.INI, but be careful you don't remove the wrong one.
Click on Start, Run, enter MSCONFIG and click on BOOT.INI. You might wish
to create a backup copy of it first before editing it.

You won't be removing the 2nd OS....your mods to BOOT.INI will just prevent
the selection prompt.

Not being sure.....when in doubt, never remove Windows files and folders.
