Removing a Server that shows in AD under domain controllers

I have a situation. I have a network with a Small
Business Server 2000 and a stand alone windows 2000
server. There is server that shows up in AD that is no
where on the network however when you try to delete in AD
CandU mmc it will not delete it. Is there another way to
remove it. Please let me know.

you need to use the ntdsutil.exe utility to remove data from AD. Take a

After you've done a metadata cleanup, make sure there is no references to it
left in DNS.
