Removing a print job

My daughter has a print job in the print que and I cannot
get it to cancel. I do not get a delete prompt and have
tried repeatedly to cancel with no success. How do I
remove this print job?

First stop the print spooler...

From the command prompt, type

net stop spooler

(and remember to hit enter)

Now go and delete the print job again.

Then remember to start the print spooler again by typing

net start spooler
