removing a operating system

A friend gave me a copy of xp professional and I
installed it on my computer. I had nothing but problems
with it so I bought my own copy and installed it. Now I
have #2 copys of xp pro on my computer. I want to remove
the copied version from my computer. Any help with this
would be appreciated. Thanks Gary
