Removing a Leisure Suit Larry trailer downloader

I downloaded a Leisure Suit Larry trailer download program
(lslmcltsetup.exe) a few days ago, but now whenever I try to delete
it, Windows tells me that the program is currently in use. I’ve tried
searching through the Task Manager and the Bootup for any files that
look like they’d be related to this program, but nothing’s coming up.
I’ve started up in Safe Mode, too, and even there I can’t delete the
program.

Someone else here had the same problem, and he was able to use a
System Restore to remove the program from his desktop. For some reason
or another, though, my restore points aren’t working. That’s probably
something else entirely. At any rate, this program refuses to leave.

I’d appreciate any help you guys could offer. Thanks!

Try starting in Safe Mode. I'm not sure, but I think there's also a way to
verify each program as it's loaded.
Or try the three fingered salute(CTRL-ALT-DEL) and look to see if the app is
running. If it is, tell Windows to kill the process. You should be able to
remove it then.

Yup, I’ve tried Safe Mode, Diagnostic Startup, and searching through
the Task Manager; either it can’t be detected by those things or the
program’s running under a different name.

Still no luck, I’m afraid.
