removeall of internet explorer

Somehow my internet explorer has been corupted & when I use
it to access my homepage & then from help "about exployer &
I get the popup which should ID which version of IE I have
the section about version/security is blank. I also have a
patch called IE Q828750 that I am unable to remove from my
system. How do I remove IE from my system so that I can
then download the latest version of IE?

Fix it instead. Check your system for "hijackware".

HijackThis (http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip) is the
preferred tool to use these days. It will help to both identify and remove
any hijackware/spyware. **Post your files to
http://forums.spywareinfo.com/, not here.**

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.
