I would like to remove IE6.0 from my machine so that I
could reinstall. How do I do that?

Go into control panel, add and remove programs, the to add
and remove windows components

sorry for incomplete question. os is xp and there is no
item in add/remove programs. overinstall doesn't correct
the problem. I have gone to using netscape which is ok, but
would still like to be able to use IE. thanks for the reply.
 
In WinXP, you may either Repair or Reinstall IE6. You cannot remove it.
