Hey y'all,

How can I remove an unwanted context (right-click) menu item, in this case
one installed by Yahoo e.g. E-mail with Yahoo?

TIA,

Mike W.

seemingly unchanged.
And it is in such twilight that we all must be most aware of
change in the air - however slight -
lest we become unwitting victims of the darkness.

Mike,

Open Add/Remove Programs and uninstall "Yahoo Internet Mail". Not that this removes the context menu and also uninstall the Yahoo mail MAPI plugin. To remove the context menu entry alone, try this:

Open Registry Editor and naivgate to:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\Yahoo! Mail

Backup the above key by exporting it. Then, delete the key from the registry.

Option #2 worked like a charm.
