Help! Trying to undo unwanted context menu action in Explorer

Hi, I read in Visual C# .Net Step by Step how you could add an action to a
file type by doing the following:
For file icons (Windows Me/2000/XP):
a.. Select Folder Options from the Tools menu in My Computer or
Explorer, and click the File Types tab.
b.. Highlight the desired file type, and click Advanced.
c.. Here, you can specify a new name for this file type (to be listed
in the type column in Explorer), as well as the default icon for files
of this type.
d.. In the box entitled Actions, is a list of the customizable context
menu items. The bold item is the default (the action carried out when
you double-click on a file of this type).
e.. You can add new items, change the default action, and remove
unwanted items here. For new items, simply specify the program with
which you want the action carried out.

I did this, associating, according to my thought the action of being able to
right click on a folder, select the menu 'Command' and have it open
command.com in the directory I right-clicked. Unfortunately, instead, it now
opens command in the parent directory of the directory I double click. I
thought, 'No problem, I'll just go back in and edit it' but when I try to
edit the action to associate with the file type it the edit menu item is
grayed out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the quick response. Sorry about the lateness of mine. I was unable
to access my computer until today. Your recommendation to click on Restore
Defaults did not help, however. I hope that someone will come up with another
solution, even if it means changing the registry setting. Although I am
moderately interested in opening a command window in the directory I
right-click on, I am no extremely interested in being able to restore the
default action of having explorer open the file folder I left-click on
(without having to reinstall my OS, etc) so any help would be greatly
appreciated.
