remove uninstalled update

For some reason Office 2003 Service Pack 1
Update for Outlook 2003 Junk Email Filter (KB904631) keep comming up
with Failed. How do I remove them from my ready to install update
list?

I don't really need them so if I could just take them off so they don't
try and install every time I close my pc or when the update icon comes
up and I click on it.

Any haelp will be greatly appreciated

Hi,

I suggest you hide the update:

Select "Custom Install" in the install dialog, unselect the update in
question, and when later on asked, select to never show the update
again.
