I recently downloaded kazaa and decided to uninstall.
However I cannot remove from the control panel
InstaFinderK. Any ideas?

This is the Windows Installer Cleanup tool.
Install it and run it and look for an entry for the
critter.
If you find that, remove it.
That should fix the issue.
If that works, I'd recommend removing the cleanup tool,
via add or remove
programs--it isn't something you'll need regularly.

I'm not sure the best fix for this. Control Panel applets are executables,
with the extension .CPL, and residing in \windows\system32.

If you can spot which such file relates to your icon, you could rename it
(use a different extension, such as .BAK) and see if that fixes the issue.
If it does, you could then delete the file.

However, the name as presented in the control panel and the name of the file
itself may be quite different--this can take some detective work to spot the
right file.
