remove old programs

I am trying to remove old games and software programs that are still showing up in my C drive,but when I go to control panel-add/ remove programs, the only programs showing are for my video card driver , antivirus, cd burner and maybe one or two more programs that I need. Can I simply delete the old ones in my C drive somehow

start\search\ all files and folders and then type in what you are looking for, in this case the name of the game, and then delete any you find. You can also go into the registry and search for anything with the programs name. That gets most of it. Good luck. {:~)
