I had win98se and upgraded to winxp home. It seems to have taken up
lot of my hd. Are there files I should have deleted after the upgrade
Is win98 still in there taking up room? If so, how do
uninstall/delete without messing up the upgrade? Thank

A Clean install of XP would have formatted your harddrive and given
you more room. There's probably remnants left of 98 which are now
taking up space. You should also have at least 256mb of RAM and a
harddrive of at least 20gb, anything less will give you future problems.
Especially now, after you installed XP you will also need to install SP2.

Order Windows XP Service Pack 2 on CD (it is FREE)

You can go into Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs and delete the backup
of WinSE; should be a listing for it.
