Remove Netbios over IP ????

Hi, I've recently migrated our NT4 domain to Windows 2000.
When I log on I see the netBios name rather than our new
dns name domain.com apparently it's because I'm using
netbios over IP! Should I change this? We have a pure W2K
environment. How do I remove netbios over IP?

unless your AD environment is running in NATIVE mode, this will happen.

I really dont think you want to disable NB/IP....

remove File/Print sharing on all network cards and goto device manager
select show hidden devices, non-plug..., netbios of tcp/ip disable.
