remove IE

You don't. Use the browser of your choice. There are options like Opera,
Netscape, and Mozilla.
 
i havent had any luck uninstalling it sorry

If you really want to uninstall IE6 then go to My
Computer / Control Panel / Add or Remove Programs / click
on the button to add or remove Windows components and
uncheck the box with Internet Explorer against it.
