Remove icons from system tray

Help - how do I remove icons from the system tray without
messing with msconfig. If that is my only recourse, how
do I do it?

Thoroughly check the options of the program that put the icon in the
system tray. Sometimes they will give you the option of removing the
system tray icon. If you need to use msconfig, here's a beginners

might be a registry entry that needs modifying rather than an msconfig
command.
