remove "file download" message

I have uploaded a bunch of excel and word documents to my website. When I
click on the any of the links to those documents I get a message that says
"Some fiels can harm your computer. If the file informaiton below looks
suspicious..." and asks then if they want to open or save. I would like for
these documents to just open. How can I change that?
 
That's a function of the individual browser, not the web site.
