How do I remove "Edit", "Print", "Preview" and other unused items from the
context menu? Thanks.

For which file type? Most of those settings can be managed using Folder
Options applet (File Types tab)

For all image types. In Folder Options, I clicked the JPG type and I don't
see Preview and Edit options in the Advanced tab. All I could find was Open
and Printto.

Thanks.

You can remove the "Edit" and "Print" actions from the registry. For image
file types, use these steps:

1. Click Start, Run and type REGEDIT.EXE
2. Navigate to the following branch:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\image\shell

3. Export (backup) the branch to a REG file.
4. Delete the two sub-keys namely "edit" and "print".
5. Close Regedit

You are awesome, Ramesh. You helped out the last time. No wonder you are the
MVP!!

While we are on the topic, how can I remove "Preview" and uninstall Windows
Picture and Fax Viewer completely for good?

You're welcome, Mo. The Preview actions are defined in the following places:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\jpegfile\shell\open
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\image\ShellEx\ContextMenuHandlers\ShellImagePreview

Ramesh, thanks so much for your answers. However, once I deleted the
"Preview" menu, "Edit" menu item popped up. And there are no "Open" and
"Edit" keys, under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\image\shell

Where can I find this elusive "Edit" key in the registry? When I click Edit,
the image is opened in the Picture and Fax Viewer.

Thanks for your time.

Nevermind.
The Edit option showed up in filetypes tab and I deleted the item for each
image file type. But I was wondering, if it did not show up
"SystemFileAssociations\image\shell", from where did this Edit come from?

Thanks once again.

Mo,

Each file type can have an "edit" verb, which overrides the
SystemFileAssociations' "edit" verb.
