remove design template name from status bar

Can I remove the design template name from status bar in powerpoint?

Hi Nancy,

as far as I know, this is not possible. If you want to "hide" the name of
the template you used, you could rename your template to something neutral
like Standard.dot, open a new presentation with this and import your slides
using Insert - Slides from file.

I don't think so, but you can change it to something you like better or to just
a period if you like.

What version of PPT do you use?
