Design template name in status bar

Is there a way to delete or change the name of the design template that
appears in the status bar? I have a user that imported slides from one
presentation into a new one. She kept the original formatting. The name of
the presentation she imported appears in the status bar of the new
presentation. She wants to keep the design of the slides she imported but is
there a way to hide, change, or delete the name of the imported presentation
that appears in the status bar? She is using PowerPoint 2003. I would
appreciate any helpful response.

Thank you!

Hi Lauren

You need to rename the master: view -> master -> slide master -> right click
the thumbnail -> rename. If you have multiple masters, the name of the one
the selected slide is based on appears in the status bar.
