Remove AOL

Hopefully somebody here can help me. I am trying to
remove AOL 7 from my computer. I've tried using the
add/remove utility on the control panel, but I keep
getting the message, "Uninstall AOL has encountered a
problem and must shut down." Well, AOL is still there.
Any assistance, short of reformatting my hard drive will
be appreciated. BTW, I'm using Windows XP. Thanks
