remove an unlisted program ?

Hello,
apparently an installed program called "XP Optimizer" is a bad one..But I
can not see it in the installed program list of Windows, so can not remove
it !

Any idea ?

Try using spyware removal tools like Spybot Search & Destroy
(www.security.kolla.de) and Ad-aware (www.lavasoftusa.com).

If you still have the setup program for this, you may be able to re-install
it and then remove it. Also, some setup programs are also the uninstaller
for that program.
