Remove an added Menu to Main Menu

Hi Folks,

I was completing the User version of one of my front end databases and was
adding a custom toolbar and a custom menu (I was going to uncheck default
menus and toolbars in the StartUp dialog box for this database). I created
the new toolbar and had it displayed on the form I was working on. I then
went to create the new Menu I needed. I right clicked on the toolbar, clicked
customized, clicked on the commands tab, scrolled down in the Categories list
to New Menu and then from the Commands pane dragged the new menu out. My
intention was to drop this new menu onto my custom toolbar but I accidently
dropped it on the default main menu. Now whenever I go into any of my
databases, this menu is showing up. How do I get rid of it? It is not a
toolbar so I cannot delete it from the toolbar listing. I clicked on the
"Reset my usage data" button but even after closing Access (version 2002) and
rebooting my PC this menu still shows up as attached to my main file menu
(though the commands I dragged to it only show up in the User front end I was
working on when I created it). Any help or advice would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Open the MDB, right click at any toolbar, and select customise, display both
toolbars, while the cusomise box open, drag and drop the menu from the
toolbar to any other toolbar, or just remove it.

The process to remove a menu item from one of your custom menus, or the
built in one is the same:

Simply right click the menu, then ...customize.

Now, just grab the menu item in question..and drag it off the menu bar (the
cursor will change to a X). Now, just let go of mouse..and the menu item is
thrown away...

Thanks so much to Ofer, Sylvain Lafontaine and Albert D. Kallal for their
excellent and concise replies. As suggested, I opened the frontend I was
working on and dragged the menu I had created onto my custom toolbar and it
bound to it. Now when I go into my other databases the new menu I had created
just for this frontend is no longer visible. I really do appreciate
everyone's help with this simple problem. You folks are the best!
