In Access, if you click on the Tools Menu there is a fly-out menu called
"Macro" that lists commands such as Visual Basic Editor, Create Menu from
Macro, Create Toolbar from Macro, etc. My Macro Fly-out menu is gone. I was
doing some experimenting and dragged it off when I had the Customize dialog
box opened. I did not think it was any big deal, but I have not been able to
restore it.
I tried reinstall, repair, uninstall and reinstall MS Office but none of
these actions worked. Still no Macro fly-out menu. In the Customized dialog
box, on the Commands tab in the Built-in Menus category, there is no Macro
command. I have been able to rebuilt it by using the New Menu fly out
command under the New Menu Category, renaming it Macro and then dragging the
appropriate commands to the menu, but it only applies to the database that
is open at the time. When I open another database, it's not there.
Does anyone know how I can universally restore my Macro command in the Tools
Menu?
