removable disk drive keeps saying "please insert disk"

I had previously attached a multi-slot card reader and was able to load my
photos with no problem. Today, the second time I am trying to use the same
reader and card, the system recognizes the reader. It sets up 2 removable
drives "F" and "H", but when I click on either of them, they say " please
insert disk" . The reader is connect3ed, the card is in the reader correctly.
What could be the problem?

Sounds like a problem with the memory card...
could you troubleshoot by trying it on a different
machine?
