I have been trying to get some help on how to enable me
as administrator to remotely shutdown and restart a
workstation within the network.

I have a home network with 2-laptops and a desktop. The
desktop is primarily use for data storage and access it
through remote desktop only. Every once in a while I
would like to reboot it but can't do it remotely. If
anybody can help me it will be very much appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike H.

Have you looked at the shutdown.exe command?

From a Command Prompt type

shutdown /?

for usage and syntax notes.

Martin.
